Dalhousie founded in 1854 and named after Lord Dalhousie, the British Governor-General of India, this town exudes a timeless charm with its old-world ambiance and serene atmosphere. Spread across five hills—Kathlog, Potreyn, Terah, Bakrota, and Balun—Dalhousie sits at an elevation of around 1,970 meters, making it a year-round destination for nature lovers, trekkers, and those seeking tranquility.

Sunny View is a heritage cottage built in 1930 sprawling across 1.5 acres. A pristine cottage tucked in on the Panjpulla Road will prove to be a warm and comfortable holiday home. On a clear sky day one can see the lights of Lahore along with a view of three rivers of Punjab; Sutlej, Beas and Ravi.

It is an ideal get away from the bustling city life. Sunny View is centrally located and a few minutes’ walk from the famous Gandhi Chowk in Dalhousie. This lovely English cottage is very cosy and homely and allows guests to enjoy the serene beauty of the hill station.

This spectacular hill station offers various easily accessible locations which provide ideal getaways for travellers. The majestic Dhauladhar range, the snow-clad Pir Panjal range and Lush Green Bathri Valley are amongst the many beautiful sights  visitors can feast upon. The five hills which Dalhousie compromises are at heights ranging between 5000ft and 7800ft. All this makes Dalhousie a dream of a place for peace and thrill seekers.

Visitors can enjoy level walks around three hills, or enjoy treks amidst the dense forests offering enchanting views of the snow covered mountains and the lush green valleys and rivers below. Picnics are also a favourite amongst the visitors in the summer months.
